Please join us once again for the Wiseburn Community’s NATIONAL NIGHT OUT this Tuesday, August 6 from 4pm to 7pm with fun, food, games & prizes for the entire family. Location is the L.A. County Wiseburn Public Library parking lot, located at 5335 135th Street, Hawthorne. Last year’s event was wildly successful and we expect even more participation by local organizations!
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is a nationwide event designed to: heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and send a message to criminals, letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back!

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. In the wake of recent storm events, property owners facing damage may be eligible for Misfortune and Calamity Tax Relief. This relief is designed to provide financial support to those affected by natural disasters, alleviating the burdens brought about by unforeseen circumstances.
To qualify, applicants must file an Application for Reassessment: Property Damaged or Destroyed by Misfortune or Calamity (ADS-820), with the Assessor’s Office within 12 months from the date the property was damaged or destroyed and the loss must exceed $10,000 of the current market value.
